The Decker didn't reply, but instead pulled the knife from his handsheath. Flipping it around and holding it by the blade, he pulled it back and shoved the door open as he ran through it and somewhat to the right. Presumably the guard didn't have a gun pointed at it already, and presumably it wasn't automatic if he did. If so...yeah, well, funerals were cheap nowadays.
Trevor flung the knife at the guard. He wasn't particularly practised at knife-throwing, so God knows where it went, but the whole point was to make the guard think it would hit him. He had planned on following this up by rushing the man, but Vlad had that whip and he didn't know how experienced the Psyker was with it. If he got too close he might be the one getting whacked. So instead he started to run at the guard, but quickly slowed as he came within three feet.

Vlad moved almost the same instant Trevor did, diving past the man with a cross-motion. While the knife would obviously draw the primary attention at the sudden motion, Vlad's position would be a little less crucial. Or so the guard would think. One hoped, anyway.
Uncoiling the whip's thread, Vlad stepped forward, the irises of his eyes again showing a faint cyan glow. The whip's counterweight raised off the ground, snapping forward. Its target was the guard's neck, where it would wrap around. Should the wrap succeed, Vlad's instant jerk on the handle would send the monomolecular cord ripping through the vital arteries.
[Kinetic Touch: Psyker channels their will into a physical force, allowing them to move objects up to 5 pounds to a range of 10 feet. Duration: 1 round, PP Cost: 8, Level 1, Force 1
[Trevor's knife sped through the air, causing the guard (who had turned at the door's crash) to blanch and raise his arm to deflect it. The knife throwing was inaccurate at worst and effective at best. The momentary pause in the guard's demeanor caused him to forget he did, indeed, possess a loaded gun.
The follow-up, aka Vlad's strike guided by psychic powers, struck out at the guard. Unfortunately for our two protagonists, his reflexes were starting to recover. He raised his right arm, which blocked the counterweight, instead of his neck. But with Vlad's pull, the monofilament cord slashed his armor and wrist, rendering the arm useless. (11 damage)
The guard struggled to recover, but with his right hand incapacitated, he was left fumbling for the Asp baton on his left hip. He swung it ungainly towards Trevor twice, hitting only on the second wild swing. (4 damage)

Trevor flinched when the guard started after him, but raised his left arm and blocked the attack. It still hurt, but not nearly as badly as if it had hit him in the head or neck. He snapped the raised arm down and out, aiming his elbow for the guard's jaw. Simultaneously, his right fist arced up and around from his hip at the man's temple. The time required to complete the arc would first give it some torque and second cause it to hit after his elbow so that he could put his whole weight into it.

Vlad barely lost any time when the guard blocked his strike. Slashing the major arteries on the vein guaranteed an eventual win. The question was how much damage they'd take during the course of the battle.
His wrist twitched again, but his eyes provided the direction for the counterweight. As the guard was in melee combat with Trevor, the counterweight should have a clear shot at his temple.

[Trevor's fisticuffs struck the guard's face, raising welts easily. But a professional security guard wasn't going to go under from a few punches. (2 damage to Guard)
Vlad's second strike sent the counterweight on a linear path towards the guard's temple. The weight smashed into the side of the guard's head, cutting a wound and stunning him momentarily. (4 damage, 20% stun damage to Guard)
The guard struggled with Trevor, lashing out with a fist, which connected briefly with the Decker's ribcage. The second punch was launched just before the weight crashed into his head, sending his aim wide of the mark. (2 damage to Trevor)]

Guth grunted and took a short step back. This whole fist thing wasn't going too well. He liked his knife better anyway--made much prettier wounds.
Ducking nimbly around behind the guard, he swept his arm out and snagged up the weapon by the handle. He had actually considered trying to wrest the gun around and just blowing the man's brains out, but the fact that the other guards hadn't stormed into the room just from the noise the tussle was surely making was a miracle enough. No need to test Heaven's willingness to oblige.
The Decker attempted to wrap his left arm around the guard's same hip to help balance himself as he arced the blade around and stabbed rather blindly at the man's torso. It was aimed up nearer his lungs and heart, but from his position any violent movement from the guard could knock his accuracy off pretty easily.

Vlad snapped the whip once more forward, this time relying only on physics to carry its weight into the guard. The snap of the monofilament cord slashed outwards at his head.
[Managing to snag his knife back, Trevor's close-range assault sunk the knife deeply into the man's gut, piercing the weak armor he wore. The man spat blood, grunting loudly. (7 damage)
The monofilament cord snapped on the man's side, slashing his brachial artery and sending even more blood cascading out of the wound. The man stared blankly for a moment before collapsing. (6 damage)]

The Decker slid the blade out of the guard and flipped it around to hold it backwards.
"Well that was fun," he mused sarcastically as he used the guard's shirt to wipe the blood from his knife. "I feel like taking on those other guys while we're at it."
Taking the gun from its holster, Trevor slid out the magazine and counted the ammo before shoving it back in. He unclipped the holster from the man and stuck the firearm back in it.
"Probably need this. And might be able to use that, too, if only to sell it," he pointed to the club as he began to clip the holster to his own pants.

Vlad nodded, starting to roll his whip back into its holster, "Yeah. I'll grab it; I'm probably better in hand-to-hand than you are."
He smirked, "You look good covered in blood. But be careful what you wish--"
[Unexpectedly, the report of a gun sounded from the doorway. Vlad, who had just started moving, cried out in pain and clutched his bleeding left shoulder. (6 damage) The two guards had indeed heard the noise, and had set up in the doorway during the fight.
They burst through the door now, calling out, "Alright, freeze! Neither of you move!"]

Trevor had just finished clipping the holster on when the guard fired. He jerked his head up in half-surprise--he'd almost expected it, but hoped against it.
Quickly taking in the situation, he analysed his options. The two guards had the initiative and were both already prepared for a fight. He had a holstered gun and a knife strapped to the back of his hand. Vlad's whip was holstered, but he still had those stupid psychic powers. Both of them were hurt.
All things considered, it probably wasn't a good idea to try to rush them or fumble out the gun. The Decker didn't move, but he didn't put up his hands either. If he could keep them occupied long enough, they might provide some sort of opening, be it escape or attack.
"Whoawhoawhoa, don't shoot, chummers. What's goin' on?"

Vlad bit down on his lip, feeling the wounded arm gingerly. The bullet had passed through the skin, but he was losing blood. And it hurt.
He gritted his teeth, feeling a surge of anger at the turn of circumstances. They were held off now; there was no good way out of this one.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" he demanded. "Have you lost your kreggin' minds?"
He pulled himself to his feet, "My family owns this warehouse, you wage-slaves. And my father will not be happy to hear his son was just shot in the arm."
The pattern of speech and tone of voice was undeniably from the upper echelons of the social ladder. The only question was whether the security guards planned to acknowledge this fact.
[The guards paused, exchaning glances briefly. It was deadly to anger someone from the high levels of society, especially if they really were from the family that owned this warehouse. But they also couldn't be caught saying that just because some boy had said he was a DiGiacomo.
"Well, if that's true, sir," said one guard slowly, "you'll have to show us some identification. Your father wouldn't forgive us if we neglected our duties."
Their guns didn't waver; they clearly weren't ready to rule out the possibility, but neither did they believe him.

Oh, brilliance, the decker groaned inwardly. That's just great. Yeah, tell them your daddy owns this place right after they've just finished watching you beat one of their guards to death.
Trevor glanced at Vlad out of the corner of his eye, but didn't move his head. The temptation to smirk was almost overwhelming, but he resisted. He just stood there as neutral and nonexistent as he could be. There wasn't anywhere to go if attention left him, but it would be nice to have that gun out of his face.

Vlad winced, pulling himself upright. He knew Trevor was questioning his methods. But of course, Vlad knows best. As always.
"Since you just shot my arm, you'll have to wait a second," he growled at them, releasing his arm with his right hand and moving it into the unseen part of his jacket.
He had been gathering his powers, gaining a stronger hold on their weapons without them noticing. The power he would exert would not be great enough to wrench the guns away from them...but it might pull them off-balance. The force to move 10 lbs over 20 ft should be enough to push them...even divided between two objects.
"Now!" He dove off to the left, hoping Trevor was paying attention.

Trevor had begun "losing interest" in the conversation and his gaze had started to wander. After all, he was just here. Not really existing and all.
Wow. Look at that hole in the wall. I bet somebody could stick their whole hand in it. Y'know, somebody oughtta patch tha--hm? Oh. Right.
His hand having fallen lower and lower, it was now conveniently located right next to the holster. How about that. Gun comes out, bullets do too. Two of them, to be exact. The first was a rather wild shot, taken as he was still raising his arm, but the second, though he began scurrying off backwards to the right, was more level. Both, of course, were intended for the right guard's chest, though the first was mostly more for shock than for actual damage.

As Vlad dove, his right hand lifted the handle of his whip from its holster. Falling towards the ground, he released the counterweight, letting centrifugal force pull it outwards and carry it towards the closes guard, to his left.
As he landed on his wounded arm, he bit back a wince. Okay, that really...really hurt.
[Trevor's shots took the guards by surprise, as the sudden disorientation left them not knowing which person was the aggressor. His first bullet grazed the guard's leg, causing the man to suddenly hesitate in pain. The second bullet impacted on the man's light armor, cracking a rib or two underneath the vest. (9 damage)
Vlad's counterweight was pulled to its maximum extension by the outward force, accelerating it and sending it smashing into the crevice between the shoulder armor and the body vest. When the whip was jerked back, it opened a bleeding wound on the man's right arm. (5 damage)
The right-hand guard had a hand to his chest, fighting for the breath that was smashed out of him by Trevor's bullet. His one-handed shot was shaky, only piercing Trevor's left side. It missed any vital organs. (7 damage)
The left-hand guard jerked when his arm was struck, instinctively strafing the area where Vlad had been. His first bullet missed by some feet, but his second struck the Psyker's leg, causing the boy to gasp in pain once again. (8 damage)]

Guth groaned and gripped the site of the bullet wound. He continued backwards towards the door, but slowed to a walk as he leveled another shot at the guard. At the same time he gripped the corner of his mantle and pulled out a small square of gauze-like substance. He fired at the guard's chest a second time, then quickly looked down as he pulled up his shirt and slapped the stitcher patch against the hole in his gut. Another good shot and he'd have been dead, but perhaps he could slow the process slightly.
