[Upon entering the bar, Psychopath, one first notices the howl of neon lighting, fluctuating in color wildly as it's cables run about the ceiling and through that walls. The tubes in the walls run down through a distilled-water display, creating large bubbling tubes which never cease. Around these there are often a slew of Dexatrophin addicts, staring blankly. The music consists of loud, high-energy drum-and-bass, with occasional bits of jungle rhythm, and the pulsating dance floor is always covered with the silhouetted bodies of dancers, gyrating to the beat.
The Bar counter is made of an oil slick-looking plastic-and-steel setup, mildly prismatic and shinier than would ever be neccesary. The drinks served here are often of the cocktail sort, pink and green and garnished with everything under the sun that you always wanted to try but in that drunken way.]

The black-haired boy with the arrogant tilt of his head entered the bar with all the subtlety of a fanfare and painted MCS. His entrance was meant to draw attention, and he stepped in as if knowing all eyes (at least all sober ones) were on him at the moment. He smiled, turning slightly to show off his handsome features. Without a swagger yet with a definite aura of untouchability, he strode through the pulsing neon lights towards the bar.
He sat on the stool with a vaguely bored air, barely looking at the bartender before ordering "something that hurts going down."

Silently opening the door to the bar, a boy-ish looking girl quickly slipped in and let the door close behind her. Looking around the bar half interested, her gaze fell upon that of a boy sitting at the bar. Narrowing her eyes ever so slightly, she made her way over to the bar with steps as light as could be with all the drunks and addicts laying about.
Stepping up to the bar a few stools away, she glanced at the bartender and ordered a strawberry daiquri.

Vlad tapped his fingers lightly against the bar, waiting for his drink to arrive. He barely glanced at the girl who entered before turning away again. He took the glass absently in his fingers, taking a calculated sip. Not too little to appear cowardly, nor too much so as to--well--die.
Some part of his awareness catalogued the girl's presence a few feet away. But he didn't care. She was interesting enough. Yet.

Letting out a soft sigh, Kurai removed the black and somewhat tattered coat and placed it upon the stool on her left; the bar was a bit too warm for a coat. When the bartender brought her drink, she merely looked at it questioningly. Why had she ordered something so weak? None-the-less, she'd have to pay for it, and thus took a drink.
"..." Having not forgotten about the boy, she was still paying attention to him, only not in the way most of the sober people in the bar were when he had first walked in. Rather, she was only casting faint glances and keeping an alert ear on him.

Another sip, and his long, graceful fingers replaced the glass on the shimmering countertop. His eyes were still boredly engaged across the room, eyeing a particular nothing. His crossed legs shifted slightly, the top one bobbing lightly with the tempo of the music.
"See something you like?" he suddenly demanded.
His neck slowly brought his eyes around to lock onto the girl's, making it very clear who he was speaking to.

Hearing the demanding tone of the boy's voice, Kurai slowly turned her head and gave him a rather dry expression before turning to take another small sip of her own drink.
"Am I supposed to?" She responded in a rather annoyed tone. "Perhaps I'm just being cautious about who's around me, boyo."

The boy chuckled, "Most people do."
His statement was blatantly arrogant, and he seemed not to care. His fingers lifted the glass to his lips without affecting his implacable gaze.
"Am I so threatening?" he mocked slightly, eyeing his distinctly pretty boy appearance. "For shame."

It was hard for her to suppress a grin at how arrogant he sounded, and despite herself, she grinned. Watching him take a drink, Kurai glanced at her own and pushed it away; she had had enough of it.
"Everyone and anyone is a possible threat." She took a moment to give him a quick look down. "Even you, pretty boy."

Vlad tilted his chin up and slightly away. His mother called it his Imperial face. Indeed, it was very much like an ancient prince eyeing a subject thoughtfully before feeding it to the lions.
"I suppose I should be flattered," he commented absently. "But I'm not feeling that gracious."
He took another sip, before brushing his hair from his eyes. The empty glass was cast carelessly back onto the bar where it rolled, only stopping when it meant the upraised lip.

Watching him closely, Kurai let out a slight, but exaggerated yawn before rising to her feet. His very act and presence seemed to set her on edge, moreso than what she was used to; it annoyed her.
"Who says I was flattering you?" Picking up her coat and draping it over her left arm, she took a couple steps closer to him and smirked. "After all, I've seen better lookers than you before. Don't see why you should be so special."
Turning from him, she took a few steps toward the door, ready to leave. Yet, she stopped. She assumed it was because she wanted to see his reaction to her comments, but wouldn't it be the same as before? Dull and arrogant?

The boy shrugged, "Yes, but none quite so charming as I am."
He flicked the glass again, setting it rolling. He seemed perfectly at ease with letting her leave, until he looked up again to see her still standing there.
"So. I had to be special, right? Else you wouldn't have cared about me."
His lips quirked up in a smile, "Buy you a drink?"

"Charming... right."
Shaking her head, she mentally cursed herself out. She should have kept walking. Idiot.
Turning around, she slowly approached the bar once more. Why she was doing so was beyond her, but she was. "If you're special, then please do so to explain how. I seem not to be able to understand it." At his offer to buy her a drink, her lips pulled back in a reluctant smile as she took a seat on a stool next to him. "Very well. If your the one buying, might as well."
[Sorry it took so long... x.x]

[S'okay.]
He shrugged casually, lifting a finger to summon the bartender.
"I got you to sit down, didn't I?" he smirked, as the bartender came over. "Something smooth, please."
"That and I'm simply irresistible, especially when I've gotten you this far. Now you feel you have a vested interest; you want to stick it out to see how it ends."
He paused, flicking a stray hair from his long eyelashes, "So now. It's your turn. What makes me special?"

"So you got me to sit down, it's not that hard to accomplish." She stated as if anyone could have done it, when she knew full well not anyone could do it.
Shaking her head, she was about to say something rather sarcastic in response, until she heard his explanation as to why she thought he was special. Slowly turning her head to look at him, she was practically gaping at him. So he did know how to say something that didn't involve describing himself.
"Wha-what makes you special?" For once, she felt herself at a loss for words. "Well... I--I don't know. There's just something about you, I don't know what it is, or why it's even remotely interesting, but it is." And this is where she wished she could crawl into a hole. Evil pretty boy's. o.o
